King Cobra is slated for release next year, and also co-stars Christian Slater and former ’80s icon Molly Ringwald as a pair of as-yet unnamed siblings.

The films deals with the early years of Corrigan’s gay porn career and the murder of Cobra Video founder Bryan Kocis, who was found dead in his home on January 24, 2007, at the age of 44, after police were called to a fire at his Pennsylvania home.

According to the investigating coroner, Kocis was stabbed 28 times and his throat was cut before the house was set on fire.

Two male escorts, Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes, were later charged and found guilty of the murder. Prosecutors said their the motives for the murder were to destroy competition in the adult industry with the aim of making a “million-dollar” film starring Corrigan – real name Sean Paul Lockhart – who testified for the prosecution during the case.

Kocis and previously been embroiled in controversy after it was revealed that Lockhart was underage when he first starring in adult films with the studio in 2004, then aged 17.
