Big Brother star Rebekah Shelton has confirmed that she’s not dead.

Following news that the star had tragically passed away on Wednesday morning (January 10), the reality star posted a video her Twitter account saying she had been hacked.

“I’m not dead!!!!!! Please stop spreading this news!!!!! My lawyer is already working on this and this person who wants to spoil my happiness is going to pay for it!!!!!” she told her fans.

The the video she explained: “I just want to kindly ask please stop spreading news that I’m dead because obviously I’m not. I’ve been through hell today because someone used my Twitter account to write that stupid statement about me.

“This person can’t accept that I am happy and I overcame all my problems and I am finally living my life happy. I am not dead.”

Fans were heartbroken this morning (January 12) when a tweet about the 32-year-old Brazilian, who appeared on the UK reality TV show in 2009 before transitioning, appeared on her twitter page claiming she had “died unexpectedly”.

The original tweet read: “We’re sorry to inform everyone of the sad news that our wonderful and lovely Rebekah died unexpectedly on Wednesday night. We ask that you respect the family’s privacy at this time.”
