Betty White has said she plans to celebrate her 99th birthday by feeding two ducks who visit her “every day.”

Which is exactly the wholesome kind of news the world needs in 2021!

Discussing the milestone with Entertainment Tonight, the Golden Girls star – who turns 99 on Sunday 17 January – also shared that, until recently, she used to run a mile every day.

Gagged.

“Running a mile each morning has been curtailed by COVID”

The veteran star – pictured below on her 95th birthday with Katie Couric – said: “What am I doing for my birthday? Running a mile each morning has been curtailed by COVID, so I am working on getting [her 1970s show] The Pet Set re-released.

“[I’m also] feeding the two ducks who come to visit me every day.”

Anyone else having flashbacks to her feeding the baby crocodiles at the end of Lake Placid?!

Betty’s other screen roles include Young & Hungry and The Proposal. She made her feature film debut in 1962’s Advise & Consent.

Happy birthday Betty!
