Bernadette Peters: ‘I don’t do the Diva things – It’s a waste of time’

By Attitude Magazine

Bernadette Peters is best known for her Broadway executions, her TV debuts and her five Tony nominations so she’s very big, despite only being 5ft 3in tall.

She told Attitude in an interview that she keeps herself looking fabulous by maintaining a good diet, ‘having good genes’ and adds not forgetting to ‘exercise’.

And why do we all love Bernadette? In our June Issue – available to download and in shops now – she tells us why… we ‘have good taste’ [as does she] and we ‘respond’ to the things she sings about.

Whilst she has never seen a drag queen of herself, she does love Christina Bianco and if they had one thing in common it would definitely be their love for shoes.

As she embarks on her journey back to UK, theres one thing she won’t be forgetting to pack and that’s her conditioner as she tells us her hair ‘has a mind of its own’.

She might cry at the news, but she doesn’t have time for the ‘Diva thing’, catch our full interview with Bernadette Peters in the new issue of Attitude, available to download now from pocketmags.com/attitude, in shops, and to order from newsstand.co.uk.
