BBC Three’s ‘Glow Up’ set for Attitude cover shoot challenge

Tune into tonight's episode of the fierce AF make-up competition to see the high fashion challenge.

By Will Stroude

BBC Three’s Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star is set to put its contestants’ skills to the test tonight (4 June) in a special high fashion challenge for Attitude.

Hosted by Stacey Dooley, the latest instalment of the hit make-up competition will see the six remaining make-up artists (MUAs) face their boldest assignment yet as they’re booked for a high fashion editorial for our upcoming summer issue, out on 18 June.

The task is simple – we want the looks to be bold and to connect with the big trends of the fashion season – but the stakes are high: the winner will see their work go into print as a special edition cover, while the others will only make it into the magazine if their work is up to scratch. Eek.

Tonight’s Glow Up challenge sees renowned fashion and beauty make-up artist Andrew Gallimore join show judges Val Garland and Dominic Skinner to assess the contestants’ looks for Attitude, while Attitude Editor-in-Chief Cliff Joannou is also on hand to provide feedback.

With the contestants given just an hour and 45 minutes to give their models a bold look that connects with the latest trends for the Spring/Summer 2020, the race is on as we discover who’ll deliver a face that’s painted for the gods, and whose face will crack under the pressure.

The results will be revealed in tonight’s episode of BBC Three’s Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star, which arrives on BBC iPlayer at 7pm, and we’ll be revealing the winning cover on Instagram. Stay tuned…
