Former Glee star Kevin McHale has come out as gay, and it’s all because of Ariana Grande’s new song.

The pop star released her brand new single ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ on Thursday (April 20) just 11 months after the bombing at Manchester Arena which left 22 dead. The song’s music video includes a touching tribute to Manchester

The track has left fans feeling emotional, including former Glee star Kevin McHale who praised the song on Twitter on Thursday (April 19) while also coming out.

In his tweet, the actor wrote: “#NoTearsLeftToCry is gayer than me and I ACCEPT. Ty @ArianaGrande”.

In a follow-up tweet, McHale added: “I’d like to request a remix with @JanetJackson. ty for your time @ArianaGrande”.

Fans of the actor, who played Artie Abrams in the FX series, were left wondering if he had subtly come out earlier this year after he shared a photo of him holding hands with someone and captioning it with the ASL hand sign for “I love you.”
