The full trailer for HBO Max’s Sex and the City spin-off show And Just Like That has been released online.

The one-minute, 41-second clip sees Sarah Jessica Parker return as Carrie Bradshaw, along with Cynthia Nixon as Miranda and Kristin Davis as Charlotte.

Kim Cattrall, who played SATC man-eater Samantha Jones, is not returning for the series (and his instead been busy filming a role for the new Queer As Folk reboot).

The UK release date for the show has also been shared: the first two episodes of the 10-episode show will drop on 9 December on Sky Comedy, as per the US release strategy, with the following eight episodes dropping weekly.

“If you have good friends in your corner, anything’s possible”

In the trailer, Carrie is seen recording a podcast and telling listeners: “The more I live, the more I find that, if you have good friends in your corner, anything’s possible.”

Non-binary star Sara Ramirez is also seen as Che, who appears on the podcast with Carrie and asks her: “Have you ever masturbated in a public place?”

“Not since Barney’s closed,” replies the sex columnist.

Other familiar faces in the trailer include Chris Noth as Carrie’s husband Mr Big – seemingly defying rumours he had been written out of the show – and the late Willie Garson, who played gay character Stanford Blatch and died in September.

Sex and the City originally ran for six seasons on HBO from 1998 to 2004. The critically-acclaimed show was followed by two poorly-received feature length films.
