American Crime Story: Versace has finally got a UK premiere date.

The latest season of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series recounts event surrounding the murder of fashion icon Gianni Versace,  who was brutally killed by serial killer Andrew Cunanan on the steps of his Miami home in 1997.

The series premiered in the US last month, and now the BBC has confirmed that American Crime Story: The Assassination Of Gianni Versace will premiere on BBC Two as soon as next Wednesday (February 28).

The 10-part series stars Edgar Ramirez as Italian Gianni Versace, Penelope Cruz as his sister Donatella, and singer Ricky Martin as Versace’s boyfriend, Antonio D’Amico.

Meanwhile, former Glee star Darren Criss plays Andrew Cunanan, the man behind Gianni’s brutal assassination. The role has seen the actor strip completely naked in the first episode, dance around in a pink speedo and grab his package for the camera. As you do.

Ricky Martin, who teased that he had filmed his first-ever sex scene for the show, also bared his bum for a steamy scene, so there’s plenty to look forward to when then series premieres on these shores next week.

American Crime Story: Versace premieres in the UK next Wednesday (February 28) at 9pm on BBC Two.
