Alexis Arquette on Jared Leto: ‘I was dressed as a man when it went down’

Transgender actress and musician Alexis Arquette caused a stir in August last year when she alleged she’d once slept with the eternally youthful Jared Leto.

Now, the most outspoken member of the Arquette dynasty (she’s sister to Patricia, currently generating Oscar buzz for her turn in Boyhood) has spoken up again about the alleged tryst.

In an interview with Michael Musto, the 45-year-old said she was surprised by the buzz her earlier claims had caused. Surprised people were interested to know she’s slept with one of Hollywood’s biggest heart throbs? Uh, ok.

“Meanwhile, people are asking about Jared Leto’s penis size. Is that what it’s come to? I wasn’t trying to get people to believe anything. I mentioned it in passing at the end of the interview,” Arquette said.

“I was dressed as a man when it went down. I was trying to give some hope for the gay men out there! But the idea that the dude could be bisexual — whoa, that’s just too much for people to handle. I did find out after our tete-a-tete that he did end up with a trannie I know, and she was on top.”

She’s nothing if not frank, is Alexis.

Arquette’s initial claims about the alleged hook-up (please, Leto lawyers, note how often we’re using the word ‘alleged’ here) came in an interview with drag queen Jackie Beat last year and gave the world this spectacularly vivid description of 43-year-old Leto’s manhood:

“I had sex with Jared Leto back when I was presenting as a male. And, yes, it’s not only massive;
it’s like a Praetorian Guard’s helmet.”

To be honest, we’re not entirely sure if that’s a compliment.
