Alan Carr on Perez Hilton: ‘I just think the man’s a knob’

Alan Carr has branded Perez Hilton a “knob” following the blogger’s antics on Celebrity Big Brother.
Perez’s stint on the reality show has been marred by controversy, with RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage labelling him “an embarrassment to the gay community” during a recent emotional outburst. Find out more here.
Now, openly gay comedian Alan Carr has condemned Perez’s behaviour on the show, suggesting the vitriolic reaction from the public is a “good lesson” to those who “spread vile gossip”.
“I just think the man’s a kn*b. The thing is, it’s a good lesson to everyone,” Carr told GSN. “If you spend your whole time gossiping, immersing yourself in other people’s lives and slagging them off, spreading vile gossip. It shows, the lifestyle he’s had.”
He continued: “He’s nasty, nasty, nasty and self-centered. It’s a warning to everyone. You’ve got to look after yourself sometimes and he obviously hasn’t done that.”
