Adam Lambert has signed a new record deal with Warner Bros, it has been announced.

The openly gay singer, who is currently serving as Queen’s frontman on the legendary band’s world tour which hits the UK next month (January),  has revealed that he signed with his new label less than 24-hours after he parted ways with RCA Records.

Shellback and legendary Britney Spears producer Max Martin – who previously worked with the singer on his debut – are acting as executive producers on the forthcoming album, which Lambert hopes to have out by summer.

“I was working on demos and scheduled a meeting with them. They’re two of my favourite producers and at the very top of their game,” he told Billboard.

“I played them a song and we got very excited. They heard my personal growth, and lyrically, the things that I was trying to say. Long story short, they offered me a deal to be executive producers of this album, and that felt like a big moment,” he added.
