Aaron Carter says he’s ready to start dating men

"It's still new to me because I just started talking about it"

Aaron Carter has revealed he’s ready to “embrace” his sexuality and start dating men.

The US singer came out as bisexual in a heartfelt message to fans earlier this year but claimed he had no interest in dating men just two weeks later.

However, it seems he’s had a change of heart now after telling LGBTQ&A podcast host Jeffrey Masters that he’s embraced his sexuality despite it still being “new” to him.

He said: “I definitely embrace my bisexuality and, you know, it’s still new to me because I just started talking about it, really.”

“But it’s my personal life too. Whether I choose to be with a man or a woman – that’s my decision. And I don’t know, we’ll see.”

The singer also revealed that coming out was “amazing”. He said: “It was kind of scary though to be honest because I didn’t know how people would react because I’m a very honest person – almost too honest.”

The former teen heartthrob, whose most recent album LøVë was based on previous relationships with women, also hinted that his next album may feature songs written about men.

“It’s something that I’ve already thought about for the album after this one,” he said.

“I’ve already thought of it. It’s already been thought through.”
