Cher reportedly ‘speechless’ after learning of secret granddaughter

Cher has a 15-year-old granddaughter she learned about only last year, according to claims by the girl’s mother, former model Kayti Edwards.
Edwards told The Sun that she and Cher’s son Elijah Blue Allman had a short relationship in 2010 and that it resulted in the birth of a daughter, Ever, who is now 15.
According to Edwards, Allman was aware of the child from the beginning but did not take on an active parenting role. She alleged that he remained in intermittent contact over the years.

The report states that Cher became aware of the child after contacting Edwards directly in June 2025. She said the singer had previously heard mention of a possible child during an incident involving Allman in 2021, but did not treat the claim as credible at the time.
“When she heard the news, she was speechless,” Edwards said. She added that Cher later told relatives, “Oh my God, I’m finally a grandma.”
Edwards also claimed that relations between the families have since improved. She said she and Ever were invited to Cher’s Malibu home in September 2025, where the singer spent time getting to know her granddaughter. According to Edwards, Cher showed Ever some of her stage costumes, asked about her life and joined her in the swimming pool.
Neither Cher nor Allman has publicly commented on the claims.

The reports have emerged during a difficult period for the family. Court filings made this month show Cher has again sought a conservatorship over Allman’s estate, citing concerns over substance dependency, mental health and his ability to manage finances. A previous petition filed in 2023 was later withdrawn after a private resolution was reached.
Allman was recently arrested in New Hampshire following separate incidents that reportedly involved trespassing, assault and burglary allegations. He was later held for psychiatric evaluation, according to multiple reports.
