Glee’s Lea Michele announces debut album ‘Louder’

star Lea Michele has announced details of her debut album.

The actress – who plays Rachel Berry in the Fox musical drama – will release Louder on March 3rd, 2014.

The album will include Lea’s debut single Cannonball, which was penned for her by Sia. She will perform the song for the first time on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (December 12).

“Louder really encompasses my experiences over this past year and my journey as an artist up to this point,” Lea said. “There’s a lot of emotion but it’s also very encouraging and hopeful – it’s about pushing forward and living your life in a way that’s louder, stronger and bolder. I’m so excited to share this new side of me with my fans.”

The star collaborated with the likes of Stargate, Christina Perri and Colin Munroe on the record.
