Madonna shared a heartfelt thank-you note from Beyoncé following the pair’s collaboration on ‘Break My Soul (THE QUEENS Remix)’ which features on Beyoncé’s new album, Renaissance.

The sweet note was accompanied by an extravagant bouquet of white flowers, as seen on Madonna’s Instagram story.

The ‘Vogue’ hitmaker captioned her Instagram story on Tuesday (9 August) with the message: “thank you !! from one [crown emoji] to another [crown emoji]. I love the Re-Mix!”

Beyoncé’s note read: “Thank You, Queen. I’m So Grateful For You. You Have Opened Up So Many Doors For So Many Woman. You Are Masterpiece Genius.”

“Thank You For Allowing Me To Sing In Your Song And Thank You For Naming The Remix!!!! Love Always And Forever, B,” the note concludes.

‘Break My Soul (THE QUEENS Remix)’ on Renaissance interpolates Madonna’s 1990 ‘Vogue’ as Beyoncé reworks the lyrics and Madonna’s original vocals.

Following the release of the album, Beyoncé made a couple of amendments to the album.

First, she removed an ableist lyric from the track ‘Heated’ after she faced criticism from the disabled community.

Then, the singer removed a sample of Kelis’ ‘Energy’ after the artist said the inclusion of the track was done without her permission.

Attitude said Renaissance, an album dedicated to her late gay uncle, “is rooted in the survivalist sass, boundless sexuality, and freedom from traditional song structure of house”.

Renaissance is available to stream now.
