Gay orgy image used to depict Hampstead Heath on popular map app
CityMapper have since removed the image after it was reported to them on Twitter

A gay orgy image was used to depict Hampstead Heath on the CityMapper app.
Twitter user @limitedmitch was left shocked when he opened the map app when he was trying to find how far London park was from Hackney Wick.
He told Gay Star News: “I stumbled across it as I’d just come from work and saw a lot of friends on Instagram there.
“I was already meeting a friend in Hackney Wick but wanted to check how far it was. When that came through, it made a change from the usual underground sign thumbnail!”

After spotting the image, he posted it on Twitter and asked why the image was being used.
CityMapper responded and have since amended the icon.
Hampstead Heath is known for being a popular cruising ground and for decades men have been going there to indulge in al fresco sex sessions in the woodland areas.
