Watch Shakira play a runaway bride in ‘Empire’ video

Shakira has debuted the music video for her new single Empire – watch below.
The typically idiosyncratic clip shows the singer running out of her wedding, singing in a run-down church, and performing on the steps of a church while her wedding dress is on fire. As ever, Only Shakira.
The single is the second to be taken from the Colombian star’s new self-titled album, which was released on Monday (March 24).
The first single released from the album was the reggae-flecked Rihanna duet Can’t Remember to Forget You, which fell just short of the top ten on both sides of the Atlantic, reaching number eleven in the UK and number 15 in the US.
The new album also features Medicine, a duet with Shakira’s fellow coach on The Voice US, Blake Shelton.
