Sam Smith notches up third Number One single

Rising British soul singer Sam Smith has notched up his third UK Number One single.
Stay With Me, taken from the 22-year-old’s debut album In the Lonely Hour, enters the UK’s Official Singles Chart at Number One today (May 25).
“I don’t even know what to say,” Sam told OfficialCharts.com upon hearing the news. “I really poured my heart into this record and I’m just so happy people love this song. Thank you so much.”
Smith, who hails from Cambridgeshire, previously made Number One with Money on My Mind earlier this year, and La La La, his 2013 collaboration with producer Naughty Boy, which went on to receive a BRIT Award nomination.
