Paloma Faith at the F&F catwalk show

By Joseph Kocharian

Last week F&F gave us a very special treat for breakfast, in the form of Brit Award winner, Paloma Faith.

Our former cover star and Attitude Award winner came out and sang a couple of her classics, accompanied by only a piano player, and a backing singer with cowbell and a wooden spoon (in true Paloma fashion). After Paloma had worked up the crowd with incredible vocals singing Only Love Can Hurt Like This and Can’t Rely On You, the F&F Autumn winter show was ready to start.

The collection had nods to the seventies in the form of super-soft roll necks, a palette of maroon and mustard as well some great outerwear pieces. From the seventies inception, the collection expanded with plenty of modernised elements including elasticated smart joggers, blouson jackets, flashes of metallic and plenty of accessories such as leather gloves and footwear with scope from smart to casual. The best bit about it all is the price – with basics such as ribbed vests from £4 and crew neck tees from £4.50, it’s easy to layer up your entire look, without having that fear-inducing price tag.
