Listen to La Roux’s new single ‘Uptight Downtown’

La Roux’s new single Uptight Downtown debuted on BBC Radio 1 last night (May 27). Listen to it below.
The track is the second to be unveiled from the singer’s comeback album, Trouble in Paradise, following buzz track Let Me Down Gently, whose video you can watch here.
Uptight Downtown will be released on June 29, followed by the album on July 7.
La Roux – real name Elly Jackson – spoke about her sexuality in a recent interview, saying: “I don’t feel one thing or the other.” Read more here.
La Roux’s only previous album, simply titled La Roux, came out in 2009 and spawned the hit singles Bulletproof and In for the Kill.
