Kate Bush has announced her first run of live shows since 1979.

The iconic singer-songwriter will play 15 nights at London’s Eventim Apollo during August and September.

The title for the shows is Before The Dawn and the full list of dates is as follows:

August 26, 27, 29, 30
September 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 19

Tickets go on sale at 9.30am next Friday (March 28) priced between £49 and £135. They are limited to four per booker and the “lead booker” will have to show photo ID upon arrival at the Eventim Apollo on the night of the gig.

Sharing the tour dates on her official site, Bush wrote: “I am delighted to announce that we will be performing some live shows this coming August and September. I hope you will be able to join us and I look forward to seeing you there. We’ll keep you updated with further news on the website.”

Bush’s only previous tour took place in 1979 and took in dates across Europe before ending with three shows at the Eventim Apollo – which was then called the Hammersmith Odeon.

She released her tenth and most recent studio album, 50 Words for Snow, in 2011.
