Coldplay announce ‘Ghost Stories’ album, release new single

Coldplay have announced details of their sixth studio album.

The Clocks group will release Ghost Stories on May 19, which will serve as the follow-up to 2011’s Mylo Xyloto.

They have also made their new single Magic available as a free download for fans who pre-order their new collection on iTunes.

Last week, Coldplay released teaser track Midnight, which surprised fans and critics with its robotic vocals and low-key production.

Ghost Stories will also include new tracks Always In My Head, Ink and Oceans.

The tracklisting for Ghost Stories is as follows:
