All Saints

All Saints performed live for the first time in six years last night (March 26).

The girlband – Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt, Natalie Appleton and Nicole Appleton – took to the stage at Birmingham’s LG Arena as support act for the Backstreet Boys.

They played an all-hits nine-song setlist including Never EverPure Shores and Black Coffee.

All Saints last appeared together in early 2007, at the tail end of their campaign for their 2006 comeback album Studio 6.

Shortly before last night’s show, Nicole Appleton tweeted: “How special it is to be on the road again with @ShazAllSaints @NatAllSaints @melblatt …and this time with all our KIDS..AMAZING!!’

All Saints are joining the Backstreet Boys for five dates in total, with appearances coming up in Dublin (April 1), Glasgow (April 3), London (April 4), Manchester (April 5).

In February, band member Shaznay Lewis sparked rumours that the group were recording new material after revealing on Twitter she was in the studio with producers FutureCut.
