Woman sought after homophobic attack on London Tube train
Two men were abused and had coffee thrown over them during the incident on a Hammersmith and City line train on 9 August.

A woman is being sought by police following a homophobic attack on a London Tube train.
Two men were verbally and physically abused and had hot coffee thrown over them during the incident aboard Hammersmith and City line ion 9 August last year.
According to British Transport Police, the men were attacked after boarding the train at Plaistow and asking a woman to move her bag from a seat so they could sit down.
The suspect responded by hurling verbal abuse at the two men, before throwing a cup of coffee over them.
The attack took place on a Hammersmith and City line train between Plaistow and Bromley-by-Bow at approximately 7.25am on 9 August 2018
She then hit one in the face several times, leaving him with welling to his lip and minor injuries to his arm, the Evening Standard reports.
Police have now released a picture of a woman they beliebe may have information which could help their investigation.
In a statement, British Transport Police said: “On 9 August at approximately 7.25am, two men boarded a train at Plaistow and asked a woman to move her bag from a seat so they could sit down.
“A verbal altercation ensued, during which the woman shouted homophobic abuse at the two men.
The woman disembarked the train at Bromley-by-Bow Tube station, accroding to British Transport Police
“She then threw a cup of coffee at the victims and hit one of them in the face several times.
“It is believed the woman left the train at Bromley by Bow station.”
Police are urging anyone who recognises the woman or witnessed the incident to contact British Transport Polcie by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 143 of 9/08/18.
