Watch as Hillary Clinton officially confirms bid to run for US President in 2016
By Ryan Love

Hillary Clinton has officially announced her intention to run for President of the United States of America in 2016.
In a YouTube video, the former First Lady ended long-running speculation, establishing herself as the most likely Democratic nominee to run in next year’s election.
The former Secretary of State paid tribute to American families and said that she wants to be America’s “champion”.
She reiterated this in her first tweet since announcing her bid, writing: “I’m running for president. Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion.”
The video also features a gay couple who speak about their plans to get married in the year ahead.
At the same time, her official campaign website went live, as expected after a schedule outlining the plan was apparently leaked last week.
Clinton’s bid to represent the Democrats will likely go unchallenged, unlike her closely-fought battle against Obama in 2008.
Reports suggest that the early plan for Hillary’s team is to reintroduce her to America through small, controlled events.
While it is likely she will remain unchallenged, the official Democratic nomination will not be confirmed until January 2016.
Ahead of today’s announcement, Attitude looked back at her legacy and what the future may hold.
