Watch Adele nail ‘Wannabe’ and rap Nicki Minaj in James Corden’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’

If you’ve ever been left embarrassed when somebody saw you belting your heart out at the traffic lights, then it may be time to take a leaf out of Adele’s book.
While in London over the Christmas break, Corden took the 27-year-old Grammy winner for a spin around the city as apart of his infamous ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment from The Late Late Show.
And Adele absolutely owned it, singing a string of her own hits, plus a notable covers of The Spice Girls classic ‘Wannabe’, and getting her rap on to Nicki Minaj’s ‘Monster’.
In between tracks, Adele managed to spill a nice cuppa over her new coat, spoke of moments with fans in cafes, and talked about the Spice Girl inspired parties she used to hold.
“My 10th birthday there were five of us and it was a Spice Girls [theme]. I was always Geri,” said Adele.
“And then she left. It was the first time I was truly heartbroken.”
“When she left the band?” asked Corden. “Is that what ‘Someone Like You’ is about?”
The hilarious video has already clicked over 1 million views online.
It’s a lengthy 15 minutes, but is well worth the commitment as every single second had us falling off our seats from giddy Adele-induced joy.
