A video featuring footage from one of the UK’s first gay wedding ceremonies has been uploaded to YouTube. Watch it below.

Sean Adl-Tabatabai and Sinclair Gray Treadway were married in Camden, London at a minute past midnight on Saturday (March 29) – the day the law changed to enable same-sex marriages.

The historic ceremony was conducted by the Mayor of Camden, Jonathan Simpson, alongside Registrar Tania Uddin and Deputy Superintendent Registrar Steven Lord.

Speaking after the ceremony, Mr Adl-Tabatabai said: “It feels very surreal. During the service, when the Mayor was talking about the historical significance in the journey of equal rights for the gay community, it was at that moment it hit me how huge the moment was.”

Mr Treadway added: “Hopefully one day we’ll look back in the future and we won’t still be fighting for rights but we’ll all be accepted”
