Top Harley Street therapists offering affordable group therapy for LGBT people

By Will Stroude

Harley_Street_2382499bTwo of the UKs leading therapists have come together to offer affordable group therapy specifically for LGBT people in central London every Tuesday night.

David Smallwood, author of Who Says I’m An Addict, and Sarah Graham, a member of the UK Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, have joined forces to help people find an affordable way into therapy.

The weekly safe-space therapy group is the only one of its kind being offered by qualified addiction therapists who are themselves out members of the LGBT community.

The group was originally intended for individuals in recovery from drug or alcohol addictions who want to look at feelings of low self worth or other addictive patterns for things like sex and eating, but any LGBT person is welcome, regardless of whether they are in recovery for any addiction.

David Smallwood says of the sessions: “No where else can you work with top therapists on Harley St for £20 per person. This is a sincere give back to our community”.

‘LGBT recovery group with David Smallwood and Sarah Graham’ is every Tuesday night at One40, 140 Harley Street, London, W1G 7LB. The event is group therapy session and the cost per person is £20. Booking not necessary, just turn up. 6.30pm for 7pm.
