Tom Daley to film new documentary to shine light on same-sex surrogacy
The Olympic diver is planning on travelling to countries where it is banned

Tom Daley is reportedly planning on travelling to countries where same-sex surrogacy is banned in a new documentary.
The 24-year-old Olympic diver welcome his son Robert with husband Dustin Lance Black this June and now, Daley is looking to share details of his fatherhood journey in a new documentary for the BBC.
Slated to air next year, the documentary will see Daley talk about the homophobic comments he received, from both the heterosexual and LGBT+ community, when he announced he was expecting his son.
A source told The Sun: Surrogacy changed Tom and Dustin’s life, but as proven by the backlash they received it’s still a divisive subject, particularly where LGBT couples are concerned.
“With this documentary, Tom hopes to broaden minds, discover exactly why people are against surrogacy, and – after keeping a dignified silence so far – challenge some of his fiercest critics head on.”
The documentary will also look at UK laws where advertising for surrogate mothers is still restricted.
