By Josh Haggis

Three gay man have entered into a three-way marriage.

Art, 26, Bell, 21, and Joke, 29, who claim to be part of the world’s first ever three-way gay wedding, tied the knot in the Uthani Thani Province of Thailand on Valentine’s Day.

Thailand

Art and Joke first began dating in 2010 after they met each other through work. They then met Bell at a party, and after he became hospitilised with an illness, the three men grew closer and the idea of marriage came up.

“I think we are first three-way same-sex males to have a wedding – possibly in the world,” said Bell. “Some people may not agree and are probably amazed by our decision, but we believe many people do understand and accept our choice. Love is love, after all.”

Although gay couples can’t legally marry in Thailand, the three men have become committed to each other under Buddhist law.
