Powerful, short documentary released to launch campaign #HIVDoesntDefineYou – Watch

The documentary profiles Mr Gay England 2018 Philip Dzwonkiewicz who was diagnosed with HIV in 2007

A new short documentary profiling Mr Gay England 2018 has been released to launch the new campaign #HIVDoesntDefineYou.

JUS+ LIKE ME profiles HIV activist and Mr Gay England 2018, Philip Dzwonkiewicz who was diagnosed with HIV back in 2007 and the short documentary details his ambition is to combat to a new era of complacency, stigma and lack of education surrounding HIV.

Directed by Samuel Douek and produced by Believe Media UK in honour of World Aids Day, the powerful documentary was a collaboration with Positive East and has been released online today (December 1).

Mark Santos, head of Positive East, said: “Positive East is very proud and humbled that Philip has allowed us to be part of his journey.

“This generous, personal and powerful act of sharing challenges HIV stigma.

“It shows that HIV does not define or limit you in realising your potential.”
