La Roux tease comeback with snippet of new music
La Roux appear to have confirmed their return to music by posting a teaser clip on Instagram.
The London-based synth-pop duo uploaded the clip to the social media site last night (8 May), with the caption: “And so we begin…”
In the clip, a synth-heavy song can be heard, and our friends at Popjustice are reporting that it is called Silent Partner.
La Roux – Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid – have also shared the new promo picture of Jackson that appears in this article.
The clip is the first new music from the duo since their 2009 self-titled debut, which reached number two on the UK’s Official Album Chart and spawned the hits In For The Kill and Bulletproof.
Meanwhile, several music sites are reporting that La Roux’s second album is called Trouble In Paradise and will be released in July.
