Demi Lovato has been honoured by the GLAAD Awards

Pop star Demi Lovato has been honoured by GLAAD and will be the latest to get a Vanguard Award from the upcoming GLAAD awards.

Previous honourees include Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson and Kerry Washington.


Lovato has spoken about her sexuality, stating that “love is fluid.” She also appeared on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man and said she’s not “confirming on denying” that one of her songs is about sex with a woman.

The 23-year-old singer has been a supported of LGBT rights and campaigned for equal marriage.

The GLAAD Awards will take place on April 2nd.
