Daley, Black offering double date in aid of charity
By Josh Haggis
Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black are offering two lucky people the chance to go on a double date with them for charity.
The couple are raffling off the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to London, where they’ll take the winners out for dinner and on a tour of some of their favourite nightlife hotspots, in an effort to raise funds for both The Human Rights Campaign and The Brain Tumour Charity.
In a video announcement, the couple revealed that the charities they’re raising cash for are close to both their hearts.
“The reason we’re doing it is because in our lives and in the last few years Tom and I have experienced a lot of loss in our families,” explained Black.
“But I think one of the reasons we connect, that we love each other is that we like to take something that is a loss and make good out of it. And that’s why it’s important for us to raise money for these charities that are really close to our heart,” he added.
Tickets for the raffle start at $10 (£6) for 100 entries and go all the way up to $25,000 (£17,000) for 250,000 entries. For the full details on how to enter, click here.
