A Change of Scene: London’s new gay and bi community group
By Sam Rigby
A new community group for gay and bisexual men wants to hear what you have to say about relationships…
Do you have trouble finding a relationship or staying in one? Are you always attracted to unavailable men? Do you want a relationship but always end up with casual sex? Want to meet other gay and bisexual men to hear what they have to say too?
A Change of Scene is a monthly group run by gay and bi men for gay and bi men. It’s a chance to discuss issues that are relevant to all of us. Come and have your say or just sit and listen.
Organiser Simon Marks said: “I hear so many men say they don’t have an opportunity to meet gay men outside of bars and clubs to actually have conversations and get to speak to other people and that has been my experience of the scene.
“So many of us are informed and passionate and want to contribute but it’s hard to hear what we have to say in loud bars and clubs so this is an exciting community space to do that.
“This month the topic is relationships. Clearly there are many, many gay and bisexual men in successful, strong relationships but many of us say we seem to struggle with them or that sex outside of relationships can sometimes get in the way.
“This is a place to hear a discussion about some of the good things, the bad things and maybe get a handle on how to make some change.”
