X Factor’s Tom Davies and Mason Noise are big fans of shirtless selfies

By Shaun Kitchener

The X Factor returned to ITV last night for another three-and-a-half months of highly addictive ridiculousness, with a fresh batch of hopefuls sent on their way to Boot Camp via Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Simon Cowell and newbies Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw.

Tom Davies and Mason Noise, who’ll be competing in the Boys category after sailing through their initial tryouts last night, are already seeing their online popularity soar thanks to brilliant arena auditions – and it turns out they’re not exactly shy when it comes to the ol’ selfies, either.

Tom, who sees himself as the “male Cheryl”, can probably expect to see his 4.9k follower-count on Instagram skyrocket once more viewers wise-up to his fondness for photos like these. You’re welcome:

Rise and Shine.

Listen, I may like taking pictures of myself first thing in the morning. But that does not give you permission to!

As for Mason, who’s facing reports this morning that he slated Cheryl just last year (“How is Cheryl in the music business, let alone a judge…?”, he allegedly tweeted – obviously unfamiliar with Banger Of The Decade ‘Call My Name’), he’s treated his Twitter followers to a bit of torso every once in a while, too.

Never stop working on yourself. Its the best project you’ve been given. #Work A photo posted by Mason Noise (@itsmasonnoise) on

And long may their success continue.
