David and Victoria Beckham attend New York Met Gala

David and Victoria Beckham dazzled crowds as they walked the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala Ball last night (May 5).

The couple showed up at the event, which was hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, dressed in their finest white tie regalia.

39-year-old David looked every inch the gent in a Ralph Lauren suit comprised of a white jacket, black tie and pants. Meanwhile Victoria, 40, posed for the cameras in a cropped top floor-length white dress from her signature Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

The former Spice Girl-turned fashion designer shared a picture of her and David, with the message: ‘So proud to share such a great evening with my wonderful husband x vb #MetGala #CharlesJames’.

Wintour – who co-hosted this year’s party with Sarah Jessica Parker and Bradley Cooper – charged $25,000 a ticket, $10,000 more than last year’s price.

The theme was White Tie And Decorations, an ode to Anglo-American designer Charles James.
