Netflix releases Heartstopper season one deleted scene
Netflix capped off the Heartstopper love for 2022 perfectly!

It’s extremely hard to deny the presence and influence that Heartstopper had in the LGBTQ media sphere (and beyond) in 2022. The love for the LGBTQ show was felt all year since its release in April.
As well as being recognised in many top-ranked LGBTQ shows of 2022, it achieved a rare 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was quickly renewed for two more seasons; the second season is due out later this year.
To cap off the 2022 Heartstopper love, Netflix released an exclusive deleted scene from the first season which gives us yet another adorable moment.
In the scene, Elle Argent (Yasmin Finney) and Tao Xu (Will Gao) laugh at a video on Tao’s phone. Meanwhile, Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and Isaac Henderson (Tobie Donovan) are sleeping peacefully.
“I miss you,” Elle tells Tao who reciprocates before adding, “It’s just me and Isaac most lunchtimes now.” By this point, Charlie is spending more time with Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) than Tao.
“I don’t want to be alone,” Tao wishes before he’s comforted by Elle. As the two share a tender embrace the characteristic animated sparks fly as the heartstopping moment.
Season two of Heartstopper wrapped early in December after being announced in May and production starting in September.
Heartstopper has been a stomper of a success since its debut, winning praise and acclaim the world over.
Kit Connor, Joe Locke, Yasmin Finney, Will Gao, Tobie Donovan, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Sebastian Croft, Rhea Norwood, and Jenny Walser are all set to return.
They’ll be joined by newcomers Leila Khan, and Jack Barton as David Nelson, Nick’s older brother. Bradley Riches as James McEwan also joins as does and Nima Taleghani as Truham teacher Mr. Farouk.
Heartstopper is streaming on Netflix now.
