Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams has teamed up with Icelandic singer Laufey for her upcoming ‘Madwoman’ music video.
Featuring KATSEYE’s Megan Skiendiel, Olympian Alysa Liu and The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Lola Tung, the single’s video is set to drop on 13 April at 3 pm BST.
Dropping teasers throughout last week, Laufey introduced Williams as the “madman”, set in a vintage, 1970s-style visual.
Hudson Williams appears dripping wet in Laufey music video
In the trailer counting down to the music video drop, the American sitcom-style short sees Williams dripping wet and blessing viewers with a flirtatious wink.
Posting BTS shots of the cast, Laufey shows Williams wearing a black polka-dot suit finished with a bow tie.
The single is part of Laufey’s newest deluxe album, A Matter of Time: The Final Hour, which was released on 10 April, with ‘Madwoman’ leading the 19-track list of music video visuals.
What is Laufey’s ‘Madwoman’ about?
The lyrics suggest Laufey knows her relationship is bad, recalling toxic moments and knowing how it is going to end – though she wants it anyway.
The chorus sings: “We’ve been through this before, fell in and out, I said, ‘No more’ / But still I want you like a mad, mad woman.”
Laufey’s music video follows the Heated Rivalry star appearing as Nosferatu in Love Lucille’s ‘Lights On On’ visual in January 2026.
Have they filmed season 2 of Heated Rivalry?
With Heated Rivalry series two gearing up for production in August 2026, Williams is set to reprise his role as Shane alongside co-star Connor Storrie, who will return as Ilya.
The second season has been confirmed to stream on Sky and NOW in the UK following its renewal, with a release set for next spring.
‘Madwoman’ will be available to watch on YouTube via Laufey’s official page from 3 pm BST on 13 April 2026 and 10 am EST.
