X Factor’s Seann Miley Moore impresses with tribute to ‘fabulous’ Freddie Mercury
Seann Miley Moore was one of the breakout stars of last night’s X Factor after a spellbinding rendition of Queen’s ‘The Show Must Go On’, which he dedicated to “fabulous Freddie [Mercury]”.
The Australian performer – dressed in hoop earrings, a translucent top and high-waisted skirt – has already been installed as the fourth favourite to win behind only Louisa Johnson, 4th Power and Josh Daniel.
His performance reduced Rita Ora to tears, and the new judge said: “You have got so much passion and so much determination and so much individuality. There is nothing I can say to you apart from I am so happy you came on this show.”
Simon Cowell told him: “I always wanted to find an artist on this show that you can’t compare with anybody else, who’s got originality, and you’ve got to remember somebody. And I’m going to remember this audition for a very long time. I think you’re great.”
The star-in-the-making’s forward-thinking, box-redefining fashion is also clearly evident on Instagram, where he has racked up thousands of followers. We’ll certainly be keeping a close eye as the series progresses.
