Watch the trailer for new gay drama series Outings

By Fabio Crispim

Last year, Lloyd Eyre-Morgan’s acclaimed short film Closets was awarded the Prize for Best British Short at the Iris Prize in 2015.

Now, the director is returning with with a brand new gay series called Outings. The three-part series focuses on stories of three gay 20-somethings that are, like all of us, just trying to work it all out.

Described as Queer as Folk meets Skins, the show is written by Eyre-Morgan and writer Rob Ward, and follows characters Kane, Kiegan and Tim as they struggle with life’s relationships and heartbreaks.

Speaking to Attitude, Eyre-Morgan says: “I’m hoping the series resignates with young LGBT people and I think we’ve told some honest stories – including struggles with gay sex, drugs, coming out and bisexuality.”

Outings will be available on DVD from June 13 as well as to download on iTunes and Amazon Prime.
