Watch: Katy Perry’s awkward onstage encounter with drunk touchy-feely fan

Picture the scene: You’re in Rio. You’re at a Katy Perry gig. You’ve had a couple of drinks. You get invited onstage. You’d be excited right?
Well at the California Gurls singer’s recent Prismatic Tour stop in Rio, Brazil, one fan’s excitement manifested in a rather amorous way after having one too many before getting up onstage.
After the fan indulged in some initial slurring, kissing and licking of her neck, Katy quickly informed the crowd that the girl was “rolling”, but kept her onstage for an excruciating few minutes. As well as helping to prop up her up, Katy took some selfies and learnt some Portuguese phrases from her adoring fan – who at one point gets down on her knees to attach herself to her idol’s midriff and also grabs her boob.
Katy dealt with the whole encounter like a total pro, though. Watch it unfold below:
Meanwhile, Perry recently denied taking a fan’s phone and sending an expletive-filled message to their ex – though the supposed screenshot that circulated online might be one of the most iconic we’ve ever seen.
After kicking off in the UK in May 2014, the Prismatic Tour will finally wrap up in Costa Rica on October 18, after an incredible 151 shows over 18 months.
