Watch: Brilliant parody trailer for ‘Grindr the Musical’

By Micah Sulit

From director Andrew Putschoegl comes a brilliant trailer for a new musical about the joys and pitfalls of gay dating.

‘Grindr the Musical’ tells the story of a gay man who’s just arrived in a big city with big hopes for finding true love… with the help of Grindr, obviously.

“So far away from home, that town was so unkind,” the cute Jake sings as he appears onstage. “No closets here, I finally can grind!”

We know it’s fake, but the trailer is so epic want tickets now!

The fake reviews are hilarious as well – Homorazzi reportedly gives the musical “four d*cks up”.

Apart from Putschoegl, we have writer JC Gardiner, musician Mark Byers and choreographer Nicco Annan to thank for this awesome clip. Phillip Wedow stars as Jake alongside Ean Weslynn of the web series Day Drunk Gays.
