HBO has released a trailer for season three of Veep.

The hit political comedy, inspired by BBC’s The Thick of It, stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, the Vice President of the United States, who struggles to juggle a busy workload with her dysfunctional relationship with the President and a wealth of personal issues.

My Girl actress Anna Chlumsky co-stars as the Vice President’s Chief of Staff, while the cast also includes Arrested Development‘s Tony Hale as her long-suffering aide. Both Louis-Dreyfus and Hale have picked up Emmy awards for their performances.

The third season of the show will feature ten episodes and begins on April 6 on HBO. In the UK, Veep airs on Sky Atlantic and the return date has yet to be confirmed.
