Tom Daley in his trunks added to Google Maps
By Josh Haggis
Tom Daley is now on Google Maps – wearing his signature diving trunks.
Google Maps has added a new set of images taken inside the London Olympic Aquatics Centre, which include a full 360-degree view of Daley at the top of the diving board where he won his Olympic bronze medal in 2012. Click here to see Daley on Google Maps.
Ideal Insight, who produced the tour of the Olympic pool venue in east London, explained: “The purpose of the project was to showcase the London Aquatics Centre’s incredible facilities to prospective customers and the general public in an interactive, engaging and stimulating way!”
Meanwhile, other venues at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London are being added to Google Maps ahead of the park’s opening to the public next month (April).
