The new coming-of-age comedy drama ‘KANARIE’ to be released on DVD next month

Christiaan Olwagen’s new movie KANARIE will be released next month – and we have an exclusive trailer.

The film follows Johan who is drafted into the South African army during apartheid and decides to join the military’s travelling choir.

While taking part in the choir, romance blooms on the battlefield and causes Johan to deal with his long-repressed sexual identity.

The original take on a coming of age comedy drama, stars South African comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout in the starring role and the film tackles a series of controversial subjects.

Now Peccadillo Pictures are set to release the film on DVD and VOD from September 16 and we have the exclusive trailer for you.
