Tensions rise in the new clip for Freeform’s gay Valentine’s Day rom-com The Thing About Harry.

Arriving on Freeform from February 15, the new film stars Grey’s Anatomy actor Jake Borelli and Niko Terho.

The Thing About Harry stars Borelli as Sam, a gay man who travels from Chicago to attend an engagement party in his hometown in Missouri, where he faced ongoing bullying after coming out during high school.

Sam ends up having to take the trip with the high school bully Harry – played by Terho – who is also on the road of self-discovery.

During their trip and a night in a roadside motel, the men develop a bond that has the promise of becoming something else.

The Thing About Harry also stars Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown and Britt Baron from GLOW.

And in the new clip, we see Harry apologising for bullying Sam in school and reveals why he was so awful.

There is also a considerable amount of romantic tension between the two.

The Thing About Harry is out on February 15 on Freeform.
