Taylor Swift just made this teenage fan’s day

Taylor Swift has continued to demonstrate why she inspires such affection around the world after taking the time to offer a young teenage fan some fashion advice ahead of his prom.
17-year-old Saf, who runs a Taylor Swift fan account on blogging site Tumblr, posted a selfie earlier this week (July 7) asking his followers whether he should wear a tie or bow tie to his high school prom – but he wasn’t expecting the response he got, Gay Star News reports.
Swift – who is known to keep an eye on Tumblr fan blogs, and even invited some of the fans behind them to appear in her Shake It Off video last year – unexpectedly replied to Saf’s request for help herself, telling the student his “suit game is fire”.
“I like the tie but honestly both are great”, the 25-year-old wrote. I just feel like you look like a 50’s movie star in the bow tie, but more like a modern movie star in the tie. Depends on what vibe you’re wanting to convey but I’d say the tie. Great suit btw!”
She followed up the comment with the hashtags: “#is this a red carpet oh no wait it’s prom”, and “sorry I was confused cause your suit game is FIRE”
Understandably, Saf was a little shocked at the response from his idol, replying that he had dropped his phone in his chicken salad and was now in fact “dead”.
“THANK YOU I LOVEE YOU YOURE FHE LOVE OF KY LIFE” he wrote. “I JUST DROPPED MY PHONE INTO MY CHICKEN SALAD.”
He added: “I JUST RAN TO THE BATHROOM TO BREATHE.”
Saf’s current health situation remains unknown.
Amazing work Taylor. And definitely safer fashion advice than you’d get from Gaga, right?
