RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Veronica Green has defended her group performance look in last night’s episode.
The contestant, forced to drop out of second two after a positive Covid test, was reunited with the show’s class of 2021 for a special appearance in the finale.
Veronica – along with other returning queens and finalists Tayce, Bimini, Ellie Diamond and Lawrence Chaney – was given a pink and red costume theme for a performance of RuPaul’s song ‘A Little Bit Of Love’.

“Did I stand out on the runway? ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY!”
Today, Veronica took to Twitter to discuss her red rhinestone-studded, flesh-coloured bodysuit for the number.
To save repeating, I’ll address something about the group number. The theme was red & pink. I knew everyone would do bold red & pink looks, so I put the tiniest red rhinestones on the lightest blush appliqués I could find. Did I stand out on the runway? ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY! 💚

I was allowed on stage because I followed the theme………I just know how to make myself stand out from the crowd.

Responding to a follower who asked “isn’t that sort of ruining the theme?”, Veronica replied: “I was allowed on stage because I followed the theme………I just know how to make myself stand out from the crowd.”
“I cried for days”
Speaking to Attitude and Jodie Harsh on Tea Time in association with TAIMI about her exit from this year’s show, Veronica recently said: “At the time, when I found out I wasn’t going to be allowed back on set I did have a bit of a breakdown. I cried for a few days.
“But, you know, I’m a positive person and I picked myself up and carried on eventually.”
