Rita Ora announced as the new host of America’s Next Top Model

Back in October last year, CW cancelled America’s Next Top Model after 22 seasons.

Then in February, VH1 decided to continue the series with a brand new season.

It’s been announced that Tyra Banks will no longer host the reality show but will continue to act as executive producer on the series.

British pop star Rita Ora, known for her role as a judge on The X Factor and The Voice UK, will be taking over Banks’ role as host.

Speaking to USA Today Ora said, “The approach I wanted to have as a host and judge to the girls is what my career stands for at this moment in time, which is being a businesswoman and being able to do multiple things at the same time, whether it’s music or shooting (magazine covers) and being in movies and designing clothes.”

USA Today also reports that Ashley Graham, Law Roach and Drew Elliott will be on the judging panel.

America’s Next Top Model premiers later this year on VH1,
